Nurses and midwives make up the largest portion of the NHS workforce.

They support and care for our patients throughout their time with us, providing a huge range of services in the clinical setting.

Our hospitals need around the clock support from our estates and facilities teams.

Estates and facilities staff help us to maintain our buildings, repair our equipment and ensure that services are running as they should.

There are a number of vital services that support our patients' care that are outside of the other four categories.

These can include such services as: labs, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and more.
