Operations and Clinical Services support roles
Working hand-in-hand with our brilliant clinicians and often helping our patients and their families and carers, are teams of colleagues in many different operational roles.
These are vital operational and support roles, located in our wards, community buildings, medical records department, intensive care units, corridors, outpatients departments, call centres, clinical services’ officers, and many more public and behind-the-scenes locations.

Operations and service managers take a wide view of everything going on in their clinical areas from operating theatres to inpatient facilities and outpatient clinics, working closely with their clinical leads on every aspect of the service’s performance.
Each part of the service needs friendly, caring support teams to support doctors and nurses with the information they need, help keep patients moving effectively around hospitals, welcome and explain things on receptions and more.
