Our team includes a Band 8a Pharmacy Technician who manages purchasing, office, supply, and distribution, alongside three Band 7 and five Band 6 lead/specialist pharmacy technicians. These specialists work in areas like clinical services, education and training, dispensary services, clinical trials, and medicines information.
Aside from the dispensary, we also have vacancies in our Medicines Management Team, offering a unique chance to directly impact patient care. You'll engage with patients early to address medication concerns, reduce missed doses, and provide tailored support before discharge. Your role ensures smooth transitions of care, timely medication changes, and referrals to services like the NHS New Medicine Service. You'll also help reduce medication wastage and support sustainability, all while enjoying ongoing professional development within Croydon Health Service NHS Trust.
