Pharmacy Technician do?

Daily check of Emergency Drug Cupboard

Book in TTO prescriptions on the Prescription Tracking System

Check ‘To-Follow’ folder daily and supply medication that has been ordered

Train junior/ new staff members in the different areas

Labelling/dispensing a range of prescriptions

Maintain allocated stock area – expiry date checks and stock rotation

Dispense and supply controlled drug ward stock orders

Support the Band 5 supervisor in additional tasks to ensure smooth running of the area
