What is return to practice?

If you’re a healthcare professional and you’re looking to return to practice, we’d love to welcome you back to work in the NHS!  

If you’re a qualified healthcare professional such as a nurse or Allied Health Professional, you can use the return to practice, process to update your skills, enhance your knowledge and get up to date with the latest best practices in the NHS.

Returning to practice is easier than you might think

 

Please get in touch if any of the following apply to you: ​

 

  • Have you previously been registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)? ​

  • Have you been out of practice for more than two years? 

  • ​​Are you looking for an opportunity to update your skills and knowledge and return to the register? ​

  • Are you trained overseas and have recommendations for periods of adaptation from the HCPC to become registered?
